Exigence is what makes me write and most of the times I feels like we miss this section but it’s usually within the writing even though we don’t actually say it like in the tech description, could be added but making sure it’s in third person as it is just supposed to inform. For instance, when picking an organization tackling an issue, I decided to pick an issue that is affecting New Yorkers. With this in mind there were many issues that involved New York and some organizations that were helping different parts of the world. From the plethora of options, as a team we chose “Yes We Can”. I had New York based organizations because I believe their needs to be change in New York. There is a lot of pollution and trash in New York. By providing ways like career opportunities and resources to help New York, is a way in which I believe I am helping. With such a large population like New York, it’s essentially had people aware of the effects of pollution when it comes to plastic and as a New Yorker, I was compelled to speak out.
