Media/Design

The media/design is the way our information/message will be shown to other people. This could be done through presentation (oral), print, digital or multimedia, being the use of more than just one of the methods talked about. In this course, we have used all of these methods and it’s important to know which one to use, since it effects the way, the information will be presented to the audience. This could be seen through the architecture design from the PowerPoint of the engineering proposal. I knew when writing down the design out in a doc was going to be hard to explain without the visuals to aid us. By having the option to do multimedia, the PowerPoint became very useful to make it easier to understand with bulleted points and more images provided by the PowerPoint. Furthermore, by providing an oral version of the engineering proposal, it allows for question to be asked, that would probably get answered unless the writing was persuasive enough for the reader to do a follow up. The image also was hand designed and by having this, it allows to better design whatever needs to be clarified through labeling of the parts and showing sections of the vents.
